Leeds Gymnastics Academy’s focus is on developing children's strength, balance, flexibility, and agility, providing a strong foundation for their future sporting success. The Academy’s beginner classes concentrate on achieving badges 1-4, emphasising essential floor skills including; forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, and handstands.
Intermediate classes build upon this foundation, working towards badges 5-7, and adding complexity by incorporating bars and beam exercises. Our Leeds based gymnastics club fosters social skills, builds self-esteem, promotes teamwork, and improves concentration.

A structured 45-minute gymnastics session begins with a warm-up and progresses to floor skills, award work, and apparatus practice. This is a fun and friendly introduction to gymnastics for our little starters. ?
Your child will be encouraged to explore and develop the basic motor skills in a fun environment. These classes we use the whole of our first floor gym, which has sprung, soft surfaces and numerous safety landing areas.
Gymnastics course is offered by Viva Gymnastics Club. Our coaches, support staff and volunteers are passionate, kind, supportive and experienced people with a wealth of experience in gymnastics and in special educational teaching.
The recreational classes develop a variety of basic gymnastics skills in a fun environment.
Gymnasts in this class train for approx. 12 hour a week and perform to a much higher level of skills on all 4 pieces of apparatus to enhance co-ordination, balance, body awareness and helps to develop posture, flexibility and strength.
