We focus on age-appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music with an emphasis on building self-esteem.
Students will learn fundamental Hip-Hop moves including basic body isolations, precision, performance quality, and choreography.
TADA – The Atlanta Dance Academy is Atlanta’s newest dance studio offering high quality dance education for children and adults of all skill levels.
Kara, an Atlanta native, founded TADA in October of 2016, and she has more than 30 years of dance training and education experience. Her training and performance experiences include: Harkness House in New York City, The Joffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, The Georgia Ballet, and Southern Ballet.
Ms. Jacobson is also a graduate of the nationally recognized Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts (CCCEPA). Kara is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.
Currently, Kara is a volunteer coach for the USA Special Olympics gymnastics team. In addition to launching TADA Kara is a faculty member at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.

This style is one of the most well-known styles of dance. In these classes, we’ll focus on the grounded movements originating from African American, Latin American, and Caribbean Americans in the Bronx in New York
 Hip Hop classes are fun and free-form, but with the technical base that makes a strong dancer. The class will focus on rhythm, body language, and using their full physicality.
This BEGINNER level class starts with a short warm-up followed by stretching and then we jump right into basic Hip Hop technique. We'll also be putting together combinations of those moves to strengthen your memorization abilities aka choreography
