No-Stir Polenta;
Roman-Rosemary Polenta Squares;
Meatballs in Marinara; Zucchini Spaghetti;
Lemon-Blueberry Ricotta Cake for a sweet ending.
Amy’s passion is to create the perfect meal, from appetizer to dessert, and inspire home chefs to bring these ideas into their own kitchen.
Amy Sokol has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She has taught at the elementary and college levels. Amy currently teaches cooking classes in her own instructional kitchen.
She has taught and lectured at Williams-Sonoma, Sprouts, local health clubs, fitness stores, and community continuing education courses. In addition, she has taught along side physicians and nutritionists and provided presentations for corporate wellness programs. Amy’s recipes have been published locally, and several have been published nationally in Cooking Light magazine.
Her biggest accomplishment though, is cooking delicious and nutritious meals for her family and friends. She reads extensively on the subjects of food, cooking and nutrition. She also enjoys special occasion cooking and party planning. Amy loves to cook and loves to teach, combining the two is her dream job.

Cook like an Italian—in season and with the freshest ingredients—as you learn how to create homemade pasta from scratch for a classic carbonara. We’ll capture late summer’s bounty with ripe tomatoes in an heirloom and fresh mozzarella caprese.
Lucia will teach how to make her Sicilian Caponata which she served at the St. Joseph’s Day celebration. Our cooking classes start in the spring and end in the fall. Our instructors are IAHF members and community members with one thing in common, they all have a passion and love for cooking.
Bring a friend or ten & join us at the party school of cooking classes for an awesome night celebrating Pride and learning the art of handmade pasta and see a drag show! Jason will help you create pasta from scratch so we can make homemade Fettuccine!
The secret is fresh made! Roll up your sleeves and come join us for a hands-on class where you will make both a stuffed ravioli and hand cut pappardelle from scratch. Our signature vodka tomato sauce and a garden pesto are perfect compliments to both pastas.
