Murray Youth Performing Arts Albury offer a wide range of dance styles, for the beginner to the advanced dancer. There are also lessons for all age groups from toddlers to adult classes. We have an inclusive ethos and believe if you want to dance then we will teach you.
Our dance school has been open and operating for 30 years and has been under the guardianship of our director Ms Libby Ellis since 2014.
Murray Youth Performing Arts in addition to the dance lessons, also offers Holiday Programs, nationally recognised training, and is the Albury Wondonga provider of Ready Set Dance and Ready Set Ballet.
Learn all the basics and have fun to all the latest music - age appropriate. Standing and floor exercises, travelling and stationary steps and great routines in each class. In Open Age class some dance experience is recommended. These classes are separated for 13+ & Adults.
Here at Newcastle Dance Academy, all students must enrol in a ballet class to be eligible to participate in our jazz classes.
Jazz dance is an umbrella term encompassing several different styles of dance that became popular in the early 20th-century.
This class is designed as an introduction to the wonderful world of dance. The class consists of a small warm-up, followed by fun corner work (skips, leaps & jumps), finishing with equally fun choreography.
Classes are fun and get more challenging as the students progress. We work on routines that are showcased in the concert and regularly in community events.
