The warm-up concentrates on strength, flexibility and knowledge of the elements of jazz dance.
This continues with combinations working on turns, kicks, and jumps. The class ends with a fun choreography focusing on musicality, clean lines and movement, acting and performance.

The Sara Anderson School of Dance is a Christchurch based dance school that started in 2011 after Sara was offered the opportunity to start her own school.
From originally teaching just two days per week Miss Sara and Miss Meri now offer classes six days per week in our own dedicated dance studio located at 62 Orbell Street, Sydenham. There are two dance studios with sprung dance floors to maximise our dancers' comfort and minimise the chance of any injuries.

Jazz students in Pre Primary & Primary are encouraged participate in the Junior School concert which is held mid Term 4 and Grade 1 jazz and above participate in the end of year concert held in December towards the end of the term.
