In our free Kids in the Kitchen classes, your kids can cook up a storm, make a mess and learn how to clean it up! Taught by our in-house chef, these classes are a great way to get your kids into the kitchen.
They will have fun in a kitchen setting and enjoy something they had a hand in making themselves.
We offer this free program virtually through the City of Kitchener Facebook on Saturdays, check our event calendar for upcoming classes! There is no registration required
Our hands-on camp brings everything your kids love about the Kids in the Kitchen program to a week-long camp! We encourage campers (aged 7 – 12) to roll up their sleeves, get messy and make new friends.
In this camp, your little chefs will learn about basic cooking, nutrition, food preparation and more. They’ll also have the chance to do crafts and spend time with their fellow campers. Each junior cook will receive an apron to take home at the end of the week.
We encourage families to register early, as spaces fill up quickly.
Class topics include:
Local produce, cooking techniques, table setting, etiquette and cooking staples.
