They will prepare appetizers, salads, mouth-watering sauces, yummy breakfast dishes and cooking staples such as pastas, veggies, rice, proteins & soups. Of course, there will be desserts, too!
Each daily class lasts three hours, and it’s all hands-on cooking. During the last 45 minutes everyone sits down to enjoy the meal they’ve prepared. Every week of summer camp is designed with a theme in mind and no two weeks are the same, so children can sign-up for however many weeks they’d like.
We happily provide substitutions for children with dietary restrictions, preferences, allergies, etc. We are here to help, so let us know and we will make necessary modifications.
The Curious Kitchen takes a creative approach to cooking ~ encouraging children to explore their originality & imagination in the kitchen.
Who are we? We’re a mother (Helena)/daughter (Rachel) team that share a passion for cooking. We’ve been cooking together since Rachel was very young and now we’re super excited to share our love of cooking with others at The Curious Kitchen.
Camp mornings will be spent learning to craft a fresh and nutritious full meal, including, but not limited to, sauce making, working with different proteins, homemade pasta and sushi rolling. The afternoons will be focused on traditional baking techniques.
Aspiring bakers who love to get their hands sticky in the kitchen will love this camp! Young chefs will learn the basics of scratch-baking and how to make everything from pita bread to lemon tarts, challah to cornbread, and more!

Kids will learn culinary and baking basics as we create and taste foods from different parts of the country.
In this fun, Monday through Friday cooking camp, each child will practice basic kitchen skills and fundamentals of cooking from Tre Wilcox and staff.
