Course Outline:
Selwyn Community Education is a community education centre based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland. Each year we offer a wide range of more than 750 evening and weekend courses, plus some daytime English for Migrants courses.
During the school holidays, we offer children's art, cooking and craft courses. Join us on one of our friendly courses to meet others in the community, learn new skills and have fun.

During school term time, our office is open 9am - 9pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are open 9am - 3pm. Once a month we are open for a weekend programme of courses. During school holidays we are open for limited hours.
Indian Vegetarian Cooking class is offered by Indian Vegetarian Cooking. Indian cooking is a true reflection of the country's rich heritage. I make the cooking lessons interesting to you by introducing you to amazing facts about the Indian culture.
It's no secret I absolutely love edible flowers and all the plant kingdom actually. As well as being totally beautiful and full of health benefits, edible flowers play a really important role in the home garden for attracting bees and other beneficial insects.
This class is on Friday 11th of August and starts at 5pm so we can be ready for dinner approximately around 7pm.The lesson lasts approximately 3 hours. We will be making three traditional Greek cooking recipes.
Lesson one covers classic favorites with a vegan/vegetarian twist- you will learn how to make dumplings using  TVP as the meat alternative as well as a rainbow fried rice that will bring five colours to your meal. Â
