We find kids really love the classes, we offer Brazilian Samba for girls and Zumba fitness for both girls and boys. They are great for building coordination, strength, fitness, confidence and making friends! Most importantly it introduces them to a different music culture other than mainstream media.
We give them lots of positive encouragement and performance opportunities in an non-competitive environment. This is aimed for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years old.

In a social setting, samba-reggae dances tend to be done in a follow-the-leader fashion, with a few skilled dancers initiating moves in a line in front of the crowd, and the whole crowd then following along.
Brazilian Samba is a style of grace and femininity but also a style of power and speed. The main style found in Rio de Janeiro known as Samba no pe', the highlight of Rio Carnival with elaborate costumes and batala drumming bands.
The variations in this course are of a High-level standard, with more accent being placed on musical interpretation, poise, timing. Variations and routines are of a much higher standard making use of all previous skills learned along with partner interaction and technique.
Samba Dance Lessons are offered by Salsa Connection Dance Studio. We believe that no matter the shape or form of dance, dancing itself should not just be about steps to music - it should be lived, loved, breathed and enjoyed.
Samba dance classes are offered by Sydney Dance Rhythms. Samba is a travelling dance so it progresses quickly around the floor with plenty of rhythm and movement at the waist and the legs.
