This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type Elevating Work Platform (EWP) where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.
HRWL application will be completed by PreStart on completion of the course.
Pre Requisities
All learners must be able to read and comprehend English to a level that will enable them to safely perform duties as specified in the competency standard. PreStart Safety & Training recognises that some learners may require more support to meet the requirements of the training course.
We will endeavour to meet these needs with regards to; language, literacy and numeracy skills.
Learners are encouraged, prior to commencing the course and where applicable, to complete an PreStart Safety & Training LLN analysis, which will assist the Trainer/Assessor to interpret individual skill level and manage this from the onset.
Learners must complete and return a pre-course assessment (as supplied by PreStart Safety & Training).
Certificate Gained
All successful applicants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment: TLILIC0005 – Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (boom length 11 metres or more).
