The Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Code of Practice requires that employees are either sufficiently experienced to do their work safely or are supervised by an experienced person.

This course covers the safe operation of any vehicle or machinery associated with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP). Participants will understand the relevant guidelines, regulations and codes of practice to operate a EWP.

This course ensures you understand the relevant guidelines, regulations and Codes of Practice to safely assess and operate a MEWP. It also includes a series of practical exercises where you will apply and test your knowledge of hazards, risk management and operational skills.

This course is currently the highest level of training available in New Zealand and is designed to satisfy training requirements to the required level of the Health & Safety Act.

This course is a Health & Safety requirement and operators MUST be certified for using a EWP within the workplace as per the WorkSafe NZ "Best Practice Guide for Mobile EWP's".
