About the course

You can become a line cook with this 8-week training program located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You’ll learn to safely prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment. Line cooks often work at restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and other food service establishments.

M.T.E.C uses emerit National Occupational Standards. After completing the Line Cook Training Program, students will be able to demonstrate the following skills and duties and develop the knowledge and attitude to be considered competent in an occupation:
