About the Courses

This is a wildly fun, interactive and intimate in-person public class, conducted Live with Tv personality and award-winning author Chef Sang at our beautiful Etobicoke, On facility. Chef Sang teaches you the 4 classic styles of makimono sushi rolls. Each participant makes a total of 6 rolls, so food is ample. Vegetarian option is also available (see below). Maximum 20 participants per class.

What are Main Menu Sushi rolls we make?

  • You will make a total of 6 rolls. However, only 4 sushi rolling methods will be taught. These 4 rolls will include Cucumber Hosomaki, California Roll, Spicy Tuna Temaki, Green Dragon Roll

What are the vegetarian-vegan options?

  • Vegetarian-Vegan ingredients include cucumber, avocado, mango, sautéed king oyster mushrooms, roasted-soy eggplant, seasoned carrots, sesame-spinach.

Are there any add-ons?

Yes. The following items can be purchased at the time you book the class. *Sushi add-ons cannot be replaced with the main menu items.

  • Spicy Salmon Roll $15 + HST
  • Unagi (Freshwater Eel) Roll $15 + HST
  • Shrimp Dynamite Roll $15 + HST

I have dietary restrictions and allergies. do you accommodate them?

  • We try our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies. We do not use any nuts or dairy. We also offer gluten-free options. Please let us know during the registration process what dietary restrictions or allergies you have.

What is the minimum age to participate?

  • The vast majority of participants are 18 years+. However, we welcome young guns (under the age of 12) as long as they have an adult taking the class with them. It’s a knife-safety issue.
