  • Sarah began dancing at the age of 5 and completed her ballet training here in Geelong. In 2014 she was invited to take part in Expressions Ballet Academy’s Vocational Training Program, where she was taught by teachers of the highest calibre. It was in this year that she achieved distinction in her RAD Grade 8 exam and she discovered her passion for teaching ballet at the age of 16. She has continued to teach Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz at a number of local dance studios. Sarah completed VCE and VET Dance, achieving the highest study score in the Geelong area and was invited to perform her technique solo at Top Class at The Melbourne Recital Centre in 2014. After finishing Year 12, Sarah auditioned and was successful in many full time dance auditions however decided to pursue a career in nursing. Through her studies, Sarah has increased her understanding of the body’s anatomy and physiology. This understanding is beneficial for teaching ballet technique which focuses heavily on the alignment of the body to perform safe movement. Sarah loves the way that dance weaves together artistry and athleticism in one unique tapestry and she is committed to sharing this passion with others.
