With over 25 years of working within the healthcare sector Calming Connections is a teaching organisation helping individuals and businesses gain knowledge regarding mental health.

We run Qfqual regulated Mental Health First Aid courses, talks within the workplace on how to improve mental health culture, seminars on the effects of drugs and alcohol and a provider of well-being retreats where all this experience and information comes together.

Founder

With over 28 years of dedicated service in the NHS, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise in mental health and wellness. Drawing from my extensive knowledge of physical health, I can discuss the impact Mental Illness has on both our physical and mental health.

 A seasoned professional, I am a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Grief Awareness Instructor, and Drug and Alcohol Awareness Instructor.

Throughout my extensive career, I have been deeply committed to improving mental health outcomes and providing compassionate support for individuals facing challenging circumstances.

My work is rooted in a profound understanding of the complexities of mental health, grief, and addiction, making me a trusted resource for individuals and organisations seeking to foster a healthier, more supportive environment.
