The Studio has been training dancers in Dunedin for over 60 years, many of whom have gone on to make dance their career. [Most recently Tatyana Carr accepted into fulltime training at the Alberta School Of Ballet in Canada. In 2019 Tat has been accepted to attend the Royal Danish Summer School.
Imogen Sorley graduating from the NZ School of Dance in 2013 & Jordan Mullin graduating from The Royal Ballet School London in 2012, now dancing with the Staatsballett Berlin]
Principal Robyn Sinclair feels that although this is a fantastic achievement, the most important part of learning dance is enjoyment. “Lets face it, most students attend class because they want to dance, if you produce a dancer, then that’s a bonus”
Teachers at the studio continue with their own professional development by attending courses & workshops to enhance their qualifications & knowledge.

We offer jazz classes for pre grade to Advanced students as well as Adult classes.
The class offers students from 9 years and above the opportunity to learn choreography and teach their own material.
This class teaches students basic jazz techniques such as turns, leaps and jumps whilst combining musicality, stamina and control within the grade progressions. Exams are offered in this subject progressing from junior/beginner level through to teaching qualifications and diplomas.
This popular and dynamic style is taught in a positive environment to all age groups.
