Classical ballet is the foundation from which nearly all dance styles have developed. It requires strong technique, athleticism, and grace.
At Star Academy, ballet classes are offered for all ages, beginner through to advanced and CSTD Classical Ballet exams are also available.
Dance Edge offers Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet syllabus classes and exams and train our dancers with the discipline of classical ballet while encouraging them with constructive feedback and praise.
Following the RAD syllabus, we offer a Performance Ballet class based on routines. Students are placed in their appropriate age group and may select as many classes as they like for their weekly timetable.
Our Pre-Pro Ballet program is second to none headed up by our outstanding Ballet Directors Alisha Coon and Karen-Ann Thomas. The Pre-Professional division of our ballet program for our senior students is taught by the most dedicated and highly trained teachers.
