There is something for everyone at All Starz, depending on what the individual wants to gain from their training. You can take dancing as a hobby or for fitness and do one or two class per week, or challenge yourself to reach your full potential by learning many styles of dance. All Starz also offer Ready set dance - preschooler classes especially suited for children between the age of 2-5 yrs.
Students that do numerous classes per week love the buzz of competing in eisteddfods and competitions and many even train in preparation of pursuing a career in the dance/entertainment industry. All Starz have award winning performance groups who compete and perform regularly through out the year at eisteddfods and various events.
All Starz encourages live performances and competitions and truly believes that success comes in the form of experience gained, the friends we’ve made and the fun we’ve had.
Classical Ballet students from Grade 1 and above must attend 2 Ballet classes per week. Exams are also available to students from 6yrs.
We teach the ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) Ballet syllabus and complete ATOD examinations which can lead to world recognised professional certificates and diplomas in teaching and dance performance. Ballet builds strength, discipline and grace.
Progressing Ballet Technique is a body strengthening programme focusing on alignment, weight placement and core strength. These exercises help students engage the muscles responsible for turnout and is a great programme for improving ballet technique and preventing injuries.
Ballet stretches are an essential part of training in this form of dance. Not only stretching, but stretching correctly, can improve your performance now and extend your dancing life for years.
Geelong Ballet Centre teaches the Royal Academy of Dance training syllabus. This syllabus is internationally recognised and provides a strong training program for classical ballet dancers.
