Pointe is the very graceful Classical Ballet art of dancing on the very tip of your toes in pointe shoes, however requires great training beforehand to ensure a dancer’s feet can withstand the pressure.
Pointe technique is combined with our RAD Grade 5 Class.

Find Your Sparkle! Silver Gumnuts continue to focus on the ATOD ballet and jazz syllabi, but with more advanced technique, strength and coordination exercises than previous levels. Children are encouraged to express their individuality and find what makes them sparkle!
Modern Ballet dance classes are offered by Toongabbie Dance Centre. Modern Ballet is a cross between the jazz ballet and classical ballet style of dance with no ‘pointe’ work involved.
Classes includes barre exercises, center floor work and short across the floor combinations. To be eligible for enrolment in Pointe class, students must be currently enrolled in a minimum of one or more general ballet classes at the studio.
Stage One Dance Studio offers ballet classes for all ages. In these classes, young children learn the basic steps of ballet while the older children build on their ballet technique using creative role-play, costumes, props and thrive from positive reinforcement.
For professional dancers with prior qualifications 6 months to 1 year.
