Inspiring Future Teachers – South Downs Teacher Training (previously known as South Downs SCITT) are highly experienced in the delivery of teacher training. We are based at Durrington High School in Worthing and our partnership of schools stretches across West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

Our courses aim to provide trainees with an education of high quality at post graduate level within an environment of school-based research and enquiry. We create opportunities for trainee teachers to develop their ability to evaluate and analyse their academic and professional progress, in order to understand that teaching is a process of lifelong learning.

We are fortunate to have access to the Research School that is based at Durrington High School that works alongside us in delivering high quality evidenced based training as part of the Inspiring Future Teachers Curriculum of professional studies. We are committed to providing our staff and trainees with CPD opportunities that will enhance their pedagogy and practice both in and outside of the classroom.
