In one action packed hour our little ones explore Jazz dance, Tap dancing, Singing & Drama (& there is even enough room for some games too!). Its a great way for pre school children to explore a variety of different styles of the performing arts before they “graduate” into our Pre-junior & Junior streamed classes.
Our Preschool Performing Arts students perform at our low-key recitals in terms 1 & 2 & TWICE in our end of year spectacular at the Civic Theatre.
Located in the Newcastle suburb of Cardiff, the Australian Dance & Talent Centre allows students to grow their passion for performing arts in one location.
We offer a range of classes across the disciplines of dance, singing, acting and musical instruments to allow children to develop a cross-section of talents.
Our classes can be taken in a recreational capacity for students who want a broad range of skills or at an exam level for those who wish to see how far their abilities can take them.
With a focus on being inclusive, diverse and fun, we provide children with regular opportunities to perform onstage and showcase their amazing talent. While providing top quality tuition is a priority for us, we also strive to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Following on from the Next Steps programs, Aspirants is developed to be the next stage in learning classical ballet. Unlike Next Steps, Aspirants doesn’t follow a class theme, but follows the structure of a traditional ballet class with barre work and centre practice.
Ballet dance classes are offered by Backstage Dance Academy.
Learning the foundations in Classical Ballet is integral to every Dancer’s training. At TPS we teach the RAD Syllabus and offer students the opportunity to sit their RAD examinations, gaining a formal and recognised level of achievement
