Do you want to become a Primary School teacher? The Teaching Apprenticeship Programme (TAP) is a fee-free DfE recognised, work-based route into teaching.
Trainees gain their Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 1 year, while employed in a Primary School teaching position within a school throughout their training.
Our trainees attend weekly training which is made up of a combination of face-to-face training (delivered at our central London training centre), online and self-directed learning.
You will be allocated an eQ tutor who will support you in your school each term. You will have a phase lead who you will see at weekly training days. By demonstrating that you have made good progress in all the curriculum areas, you will be awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at the end of the course.
The e-Qualitas curriculum has a positive approach to wellbeing and a desire for the reduction of workload ‘designed in’. The subject/phase community structure within our programme, along with the half-termly tutor visits, creates opportunities for trainees to be both seen and heard.
