Barista Course Content
Participants will learn basic barista course knowledge. The course will cover the following six topics:
Appreciate and describe the origins and characteristics of coffee beans from different regions
Appreciate and use a variety of tools and equipment in different coffee-making processes
Explain the types, characteristics, functions and quality indicators of ingredients used to brew specialty coffees
Grind coffee beans and steam milk required for preparing specialty coffees
Prepare specialty coffees
Serve specialty coffees

Learn all the secrets behind creating the perfect espresso, latte, cappuccino, macchiato and flat white. Once you have learnt to pour the perfect coffee, refine your latte art with some free-pouring styles, then try your hand at some etching as well. Maximum class size of 5.
Baristas, or those who have completed the Fundamental Barista Skills, can look forward to develop their latte art skills in this course.
This is a 1-day face-to-face experiential workshop where you get an overview on the coffee of the world and learn to appreciate coffee
On completion of the olfaction training, the learner will appreciate how Professional Baristas and Coffee Graders discern the flavour notes from roasted coffee.
