You will learn about the secrets of a good lamination and go home with some delicious cheese sticks, apple and savoury tart and a block of puff pastry so you can try your hand at baking at home!
Puff Pastry is a great introduction to understand the concept of layered dough to help you in your croissant journey!
Most of our classes are held on Sundays from 8am to 12pm at Vic’s Bakehouse, 4B Settlers Cres, Ferrymead. It is the only time during the week the bakehouse is free of bakers.
At the end of the class you can take home all of the delicious creations you have baked! Our workshops are all hands-on and are suitable for all levels of baking experience. Vic’s bagels and coffee will be supplied for breakfast!
Suitable for beginners or more advanced pastry aficionados. This class will lead you step-by-step through making pastry products and give you ideas on use of different types of pastry. The class will cover choux, puff and sweet paste.
Join French Pastry Chef Anne Picart to learn authentic French pastries. Anne will teach recipes using choux pastry, brioche dough and French meringue.
