Riders learn “how to learn” and how to apply that to their lives in all areas. Our trainers enjoy teaching all aspects of riding and horsemanship with a primary focus on the principles of Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers.
Beginners through advanced students ride for both fun, competition and the love of the horse. Our program is a great way to make friends and embrace teamwork! With over 20 school horses and ponies, we have amazing animals for all abilities and personalities.? The minimum age is 6 years old.

Through our Therapeutic Program, we serve individuals with a broad range of physical, cognitive and emotional abilities and all socioeconomic backgrounds. Through our School and Boarder Programs, we provide opportunities for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders to excel in the sport of horsemanship.

Beginners are scheduled in private 30-minute lessons until they can safely navigate in a group lesson. This can take a few lessons or many lessons depending on the age, athletic ability and maturity of the rider.

Our lesson program focuses on developing young and novice riders into their full potential. We offer a comprehensive program with step by step direction to allow you or your children to grow no matter what level.
VRA encourages private lessons a minimum of twice a week to ensure students develop confidence, strength and equestrian skills. As students progress they are moved into beginning group lessons at the determination of the instructor. Please contact us to schedule private lessons.
