Australian College of Training is a provider for HACCP Risk Management courses in Australia. This program can be complete by attending a 2 day workshop here or arranged in your workplace plus accompanying workplace learning and assessment. Full completion of the program will take approximately 2 weeks due to workplace project requirements.
HACCP is a world (WHO) recognised system established to manage food safety, in all food handling, processing, production and high risk operations and to comply with the relevant legislation and codes of practice.

Australian College of Training registered as a business and began trading delivering non accredited food safety and food safety audit training.
2003
Early in 2003 the College became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and began delivering traineeships in the food and meat processing industries in Western Australia
2004
The College was appointed as the National Preferred Provider for the Stock Feed Manufacturers’ Council of Australia.
2004
The College purchased a small training centre 20 minutes South of Perth in Leeming.
2005
The College began delivering to the Stock Feed Industry in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania

All the essentials of food safety in one course This nationally accredited unit provides the skills and knowledge required to comply with personal hygiene, food safety, cleanliness of food handling areas and disposal of food in health and community settings.
Foodborne illnesses affect millions of people worldwide due to contaminated food and beverages. Proper training for food handlers is critical in preventing foodborne illnesses and outbreaks.
This course covers the legislative and cleaning requirements to maintain food-handling areas where the work does not involve direct food contact. This unit is not appropriate for a person who has direct contact with food, raw materials or ingredients.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses. It requires the ability to follow predetermined organisational procedures and to identify and control food hazards.
It is the responsibility of employers and food handlers to use hygienic practices that minimise the risk of food being contaminated while it is being prepared and served.
