Whether it's salsa, bachata, cha cha or rumba you're into, QuickSteps gives you more classes, more social events, more on weeknights, more festivals, more friends, more and more fitness benefits to spice up your life.
You'll master Salsa & Latin at QuickSteps in 3 ways.
Group Classes: Anywhere from 4-40 people with 1 or 2 teachers running the class. Teachers will teach 2 to 3 steps per class. Members generally change partners throughout the class. If you don't want to swap partners, and stay with your partner, that's cool too. We have a system called 'couplesville' that keeps you together. For solo dancers, group classes is the best way to meet new people in the Latin dance community.
Private lessons: You'll want some private lessons too. This is where you get a teacher all to yourself and they plan a class to exactly what you need. We estimate 1 private lesson is equal to 5 group classes. QuickSteps members start with one free no-obligation private lesson.
Workshops are held 3 months here in Adelaide either with local, interstate or international teachers. They are long 1-2 hour classes held back to back over a couple of days. So much fun and brilliant for your dancing!
The QuickSteps Team are here to help you learn to dance. But we know it’s not all about the dancing.
Over the years Michelle has witnessed first hand the happiness that dancing can bring into peoples lives.
It can improve your health and fitness, stress levels, social life, self confidence, relationships – all while giving you an amazing sense of satisfaction and achievement.
This is why we do what we do, and the reason for our mission: "create happiness through dance"
Salsa Dance Lessons are offered by Salsa Connection Dance Studio. We believe that no matter the shape or form of dance, dancing itself should not just be about steps to music - it should be lived, loved, breathed and enjoyed.
Your first beginners dance steps are the most valuable in your journey to learning to Salsa dance. This Latin dance is a fast dance to start with.
Rueda is a group dance that is expressed in a circular motion. The moves are called in Spanish and a move, or series of moves follow the command from the leader. This looks particularly good when performed socially!
Providing LA style and dancing, the aim of these classes is to have fun and achieve social competency. Salsa dancing in Adelaide has a great scene and we provide beginners salsa classes all the way through to advanced.
The music is infectious and is a fusion of dance styles from the Caribbean (especially in Cuba and Puerto Rico), Latin and North America.
