What Is This Programme About?
Brought to you by the Singapore Coffee Association and the ASEAN Coffee Federation in a joint partnership, this programme is not like any other.
Under the careful guidance of our trainers, you are guaranteed to learn a great deal of knowledge and practical understanding.
The programme has something for everybody, from the budding home barista, to seasoned barista trainers and even business owners. It is split into three proficiency levels; Level 1 for the home barista, Level 2 for the barista trainers and Level 3 for the daring entrepreneurs and business owners.
Know The Difference
The SCA-ACF Barista Certification Programme sets itself apart from independent barista certification courses for two reasons.
The first being the structured approach of the course and its progressive syllabus. The programme spans 7 core modules across 3 competency levels.
The common core modules allow participants to tailor their learning to their respective skill level. It offers a gradual learning path, which will give participants a sound foundation to build upon, should they decide to take subsequent certifications. As the certification level progresses, participants will glean a deeper understanding of the core modules.
The second being the expansive networking opportunities. Being a joint project with the ASEAN Coffee Federation, graduates from all over ASEAN will be able to share first hand knowledge of the coffee scene from their respective home countries, including unique facts and preferred brewing methods.
Being certified under the umbrella of the ACF, opens up a whole host of regional opportunities for baristas and business owners alike. Baristas and barista managers will have a common reference point to refer to, while business owners will find it easier to take their brands overseas.
