Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certification classes consist of lectures, hands-on skill training, exam review, and some applicable exams.

Training Lab
Coffee Project New York’s Long Island City location includes New York’s only Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Premier Training Campus, created to serve coffee professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Equipment includes the Ground Control Cyclops batch brewer, a Tone Touch 3 pour-over brewer, a variety of grinders and manual brewing devices, and five espresso machines: a Faema E71E, a Sanremo Cafe Racer, a La Marzocco Linea PB AV, and a Victoria Arduino Eagle 1.
This class will teach you all the steps involved in preparing a delicious espresso based beverage. We’ll learn how to pull a shot of espresso, steam different types of milk and practice latte art.
SAN ANTONIO BARISTA ACADEMY offers intensive hands-on training to develop the skills needed to become a professional barista. You will be given individualized training in a conducive learning environment.
The goal of this class is to use our first hand experience to educate, as well as provide tangible and/or delicious examples of the complex journey coffee takes from seed to cup!
This class lead by our Coffee Trainer will demonstrate to you the proper brewing techniques of different brewing devices and allow you to taste the difference. Learn about coffee to water ratios, water temps, brew times and grind size to get the best from your brewer.
