Brewing Foundation introduces the novice to the different methods of brewing coffee in a theoretical and practical hands-on manner for a range of devices including automatic and manual gravity, immersion and hybrid devices.
Learners will have ample practical hands-on exercises to produce a tasty brew guided by recommended brew recipes. The Intermediate course builds on the concepts and skills in the Foundation course.
Based on an understanding of the essential brewing elements and analysis of their brew results, learners will learn the relationships between brew elements and extraction quality and be able to adjust brew parameters for a well-balanced cup.
