A unique experience where children aged 3 and 4 years can learn to dance in a ‘Storybook’ themed class. This class will benefit all children, designed with a musical mixture of movement and dance which encourages teamwork, listening skills, and use of imagination.
Particularly helpful for children who are shy. Dancing with their new friends is lots of fun!
The Valerie Lissette School of Dance has established a reputation for excellence in dance training and theatrical performances. Classes offered are Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre, which are taught by qualified teachers in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere.

Everyone can participate in our entertaining annual production at the Clarence St Theatre.
During a private lesson, dancers can expect to work on specific areas of syllabus, improve general technique and apply corrections, and be taken through a dance-specific strength and conditioning program designed just for them.
Ballet is a formalized style of dance to create expression through movement. At Auckland Academy of Dance, we teach the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabi from Pre School— Solo Seal.

Intro to Dance is a combined Jazz and Ballet class for ages 5 & 6 year olds. The class focus is on teaching basic dance moves.
This is the final step in preschool ballet, by term 3 they formally change to Pre Primary and start learning the work for their first exam (don't worry, these exams are much like training wheels: they are just important so they learn the ropes).
