We began as a small pole fitness studio in 2014, and have since grown into a fully-fledged dance studio. We moved to our New GFF home in January 2020.
With award-winning instructors, we have been able to expand the classes to incorporate different styles of pole fitness & dance, aerial and dance styles from around the world.
Our instructors have a wealth of experience and teaching expertise. Many are working professionals in the dance and entertainment industry.
In our classes, you will benefit from the same high standard of instruction whether you are a beginner, professional, or in between.
GFFDamian Dance studio is proud to be an all-inclusive studio. We believe that our classes are for everyone. And everyone is welcome at GFFDamian Dance studio.
We are a membership club and there are many benefits to becoming a full member. We are open most days of the year from early to late, except for bank holidays. All classes are run on a drop-in basis.
During these classes we will introduce you to safe and fun stretching methods for your legs, hips, shoulders, back and any other areas that you feel needs improvement.
Our body conditioning classes focus on strength and muscular endurance. We use age-appropriate conditioning exercises to strengthen muscles, increase agility, control, and power.
Limbering is designed to improve a student’s level of flexibility. Various exercises are taught that will help increase their suppleness which is paramount for a dancer.
Stretch & Conditioning classes are offered by Southsea School of Dance. We are very much a 'traditional' dance school in that we believe strongly in the importance of personal discipline and attention to detail in all things.
Conditioning classes are offered by Timms School of Dance. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace which helps to make them feel at ease and confident, learning a new skill whilst having lots of fun, and making lots of new friends.
