Join Cookshop and Make Do Art Studio for a fun filled week of summer camp! We’ll be learning new skills and recipes in the kitchen, and creating fun art in the afternoons.
Each morning will be spent cooking and baking, with a focus on fun, nutritions, and delicious snacks that kids can make at home during the school year! Think granola with homemade yogurt, from scratch cheesy crackers, muffins, scones and more!
At the art table, we will be exploring different mediums each day. We will experiment with watercolor, acrylic paint, illustration techniques, textile arts and more each week!
We culminate each week of camp with a special art show for parents, exhibiting all the work we’ve made during the week as well as sharing a treat made in the kitchen.
What to expect:
Kids will prepare and eat their own snack each day. Please pack a lunch!
Some time will be spent each day at nearby Piccolo Park.
While we can make adjustments for some food allergies and intolerances, please contact us BEFORE registering if your child might not be able to eat the following ingredients: gluten, dairy, eggs, animal protein, and nuts (we can easily be peanut free, but sometimes use almonds and other tree nuts).
After 18 long months of stepping away from the Cookshop kitchen, we are ready to welcome you again for in-person classes and events! Classes have resumed, and we’ve got a fun line up of old favorites and new topics to explore.
