In camp, we use all portable baking equipment and tools, and each recipe can be recreated at home in your oven for more baking fun! Young chefs will love creating sweet AND savory baked goods in this tasty, engaging, and imaginative camp! Come and bake some awesomely tasty recipes with us this summer!
Basic Training Baking Boot Camp Recipes:
Inspire a love of healthy cooking in your child with our interactive online cooking classes! Taught by our engaging and highly talented chef instructors, our online cooking classes combine nutritional info, safe cooking skills, hygiene, jokes, geography, math, plus food history and culture.
With our rich curriculum and amazing outdoor classroom spaces, IPCP’s Nature in the City Summer Camp is sure to bring your child a summer full of discovery, fun, and friendship! Campers will spend their days exploring our outdoor classrooms, engaging in learning activities, and playing in nature.
In this fun, Monday through Friday cooking camp, each child will practice basic kitchen skills and fundamentals of cooking from Tre Wilcox and staff.
Our curriculum focuses play-based learning to combat learning loss and keep literacy and math skills sharp. Traditional activities such as arts, group games and sports will be included. The result will be stronger academic success in the coming school year.
Camp mornings will be spent learning to craft a fresh and nutritious full meal, including, but not limited to, sauce making, working with different proteins, homemade pasta and sushi rolling. The afternoons will be focused on traditional baking techniques. Â
Growing food, gardening and making/building crafts in the garden is fun and engaging! We will do various craft projects for the garden, and have a special guest who will teach us about planting and growing flowers and food. We’ll complete garden-related projects in wood, ceramics.
