We are committed to providing opportunities for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who would not otherwise be able to study in this field, and we provide quality education and professional preparation to enable our students to compete in the highly competitive theatre and entertainment industries.
Tap Dance was developed in the USA in the 19th century. The name comes from the tapping sound made by metal plates underneath the shoes.
Tap Dance Lessons are offered by Fancy Feet Dance Studio for all ages and skills. AIDT tap exam work offered from Pre-Grade, as well as medal tests and open work.
In tap class, students will learn and explore rhythm, sound, technique, terminology, style and history.
Introductory syllabus class in either the Modern or Tap dance style, for ages 5 – 6 years and up. It is very simple and playful syllabi, but with definite focus and principles of the chosen dance style.
