This class is a must for those of you looking to completely upgrade your skills and learn how to cook a new repertoire of delicious BBQ recipes.

The cooking school chefs will run through the BBQ essentials including sourcing great produce, delicious marinades, cooking temperatures and different cooking techniques for each type of meat.

They will also show you how to use the hot smoker and fire up the 200 year old French oak wine barrel smoker to demonstrate how easy smoking food can be.

We will also highlight how versatile a BBQ can be by cooking homemade pizzas, grilled vegetables and how to cook the perfect steak as well as grilling larger joints of meat.

At the conclusion of the BBQ demonstrations we will move indoors to the large dining table and eat the dishes with freshly made salads, finishing up with a delicious dessert.

A selection of beer and wine will be served with each dish.  The day begins at 10am for coffee and freshly baked pastries and will conclude around 4pm.

Korean Kimchi

Kimchi is a spicy Korean side dish created from salted, fermented vegetables, usually cabbage and radishes. It gets its unique kick from a paste made of chilli powder, garlic, ginger, red pepper and sugar and its recognizable tang from fish sauce.
