As a young girl growing up in the Caribbean, fresh, healthy and delicious food was the way of life. My uncle was a Baker and that's what helped fuel my fire for baking and cooking. We always seemed to create the best family memories at meal time.
I bake and cook when I'm happy, feeling blue, excited or just in an exploration mood. It's like therapy to me. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of baked goods.
