Graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Auckland; Studied Jazz Performance at Massey University (NZSM); He also holds a G/Diploma in Music Teaching; Being one of the two NZ Examiners of Rockschool UK under AMEB.

However, since starting Frank’s Music School he has brought on other tutors to offer lessons in all the contemporary instruments including Vocal lessons, Guitar lessons, Drums lesson, Bass lessons, Keyboard lessons, Piano lessons, Ukulele lessons, Saxophone lessons, Trumpet lessons, Violin Lessons, as well as Songwriting lessons, Music production lessons & Music Theory lessons etc. at multiple locations throughout the Auckland region.
The Howick School of Music offers lessons for: Violin, Piano, Cello, Viola, Double Bass, Harp, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, Guitar, Drum-kit, Recorder and Music for 5-6 year olds.
We provide group lessons to children 5-12 years of age and private tuition for the advancing student 13 years and older.

Students in our Violin School study violin in group lessons for five levels. All our violin students participate in one of our three string groups or three orchestras appropriate to their level.
Students gain a good understanding of posture, technique and note-reading on the violin, and can progress to a moderately advanced level both individually and as part of a group.
