Many pupils learn for fun and we can also prepare those who wish to pursue graded exams through ABRSM syllabus. There are a variety of violin sizes for different ages so we can offer advice on this when you are starting.
Melrose Music School was established in 2008 by Emma Melrose who taught piano privately for 20 years. Through her passion for music tuition and her vision of creating an environment which could accommodate a whole range of tuition in many different instruments, Melrose Music School is now a recognised and established name within its field throughout many different areas.
We teach piano, keyboard, electric & acoustic guitar, ukulele, drums, singing, violin, accordion, bass guitar, trumpet & clarinet. Lessons are taught on a one to one basis typically for 30mins per week although we can arrange a longer lesson if required.
We teach all levels and ages from complete beginner to advanced. Children, teenagers & adults are all welcome!
We have teaching centres in Stepps, Bishopbriggs, East Kilbride & Bearsden. All centres are easily accessible by public transport and close to motorway links.
We offer violin lessons in Southampton, Hampshire and surrounding areas for mixed ages and abilities. Our expert Music Maestros have years of experience helping beginners, intermediates and advanced violin players improve their ability.
At The Music Development we use a combination of traditional and Suzuki method that is tailored to the age and ability of the student, to keep a balance between progressing and making sure that learning the violin is fun and rewarding.
We have established our unique teaching method for adult learners, to help you learn efficiently and get a good foundation that drive you to enjoy the music. The plenty performing opportunities and chamber music helps you to meet more adult beginner friends, to practice harder together.
If you have a sincere desire to learn to play the violin, you can get noticeable results for beginners in less than six months. However, only professional lessons by talented teachers can provide such efficiency.
By the age of 7, children can start beginner instrumental classes. Taster sessions are available to allow children to meet the teacher and try an instrument.
