Welcome to Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club which has a home grown, proud history of surf lifesaving, and has long been ranked as one of the best clubs in the country.
Our heritage however does not stem from the accolades of surf competition only. Our club has, and continues to serve the Fish Hoek beach community through our volunteer based first responder medical emergency care offered during the Lifesaving Season (November to April). Specialised programmes and focused training to all involved is at the centre of our ongoing success.
Our very active Nipper club, with over 300 children, aged between 4 and 14 years old, learn the basics of lifesaving, sea skills and beach safety, every week throughout the summer. Lifeguard training is offered by Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club.Our courses are focussed on training lifeguards who can commit to doing voluntary duty on weekends and public holidays at Fish Hoek beach for a minimum period of 2 years.
