SA Maritime School and Transport

STCW training is offered by SA Maritime School and Transport. Our courses equip learners for all aspects of the maritime, shipping, and transport industries.

Forklift training is offered by SA Maritime School and Transport. SA Maritime School takes a personal interest in their learners. Our staff have a passion for young people, always caring, with hands-on training by our expert facilitators.

After obtaining a Learner’s Licence, driver training may begin. All training is provided by our fully qualified instructor. Our vehicle will also be available for hire on test day and the instructor will accompany the learner.

The qualification has been designed so that it reflects the workplace-based needs of the Ships Agency environment as expressed by its stakeholders. The input has been used to ensure that the qualification provides the learner with accessibility to be employed within the Ships Agency industry.

People involved in freight handling play a key role in the movement of goods since they represent the physical link that ensures that the freight is efficiently and safely handled.
