This unit provides students with the opportunity to develop basic skills and knowledge required to prepare, extract, and serve, a variety of espresso coffees whilst adhering to hygienic food safety practices, including the popular short & long blacks, cappuccino, café latte, macchiato and more.

This 8 eight-hour face to face and 4 hours (Online) course incorporates both Food Safety and Food safety Supervisor the knowledge requirements to handle food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food.

This skill set is designed to provide foundational skills, knowledge, and insights necessary to embark on a career within the baking industry. Students will delve into various aspects of baking, focusing on the creation of sponge cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, puddings, biscuits and more.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use sound knowledge of industry operations and a broad range of managerial skills to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.
