The Confined Space Infrastructure Industry course is available online or delivered in the classroom by one of our experienced tutors, with on-job evidence required. We ensure our training meets specific learning and industry needs of students in a safe and supported environment.

Trainees who attend this confined space training will be able to, in the infrastructure industry: identify the location, and work procedure to be carried out; examine an entry plan for completeness, and enter, complete work, withdraw from a confined space; and conduct a non-entry confined space.

Confines Space course training is offered by Fire Rescue First Response for all skill level. Fire Rescue First Response are the foremost providers of safety training for First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and safety, Industrial, Municipal and Medical Emergency Response Training.

The training is comprised of the selection and operation of safety and respiratory equipment, hazard identification, risk management and emergency procedures. Also covered is all required documentation, entry permits and atmospheric testing.

A confined space is any area that is not intended for human occupancy, has limited access or has the potential to contain a toxic or oxygen deficient atmosphere. Training is necessary for supervisors, stand-by-people, workers entering confined spaces and rescue personnel.

Plan a Confined Space Entry & Operate an Atmospheric Testing Device training is offered by Safety Matters for all skill level. We treat safety as a continuous process (instead of a compliance requirement) and integrate workers in safety decisions at all levels.

Training is necessary for supervisors, stand-by person, workers entering confined spaces as well as rescue personnel, it is a Department of Labour requirement that everyone involved is properly trained by a competent trainer.
