This Fall, we are launching a 10-week Advanced Culinary Program for youth aged 12 and up
We at Growing Chefs! are excited about good food, and even more excited to share it with London’s youth! That’s why we’re launching a 10-week Advanced Culinary Program for youth aged 12+.
This exciting new program will take an in-depth dive into some basics of French cooking techniques, knife skills, time management, multi-tasking and exploring lots of new recipes!
Participants will learn to make a variety of dishes including basic stocks and sauces, techniques for cooking different proteins, vegetable preparation, breads, pastry and more!
Note:
Cost includes all programming fees, dinner each week, some things to take home, a safety glove for knife skills development and a Growing Chefs! apron. Growing Chefs! Ontario is committed to providing low-cost food education experiences for youth.

Join us in the Well Seasoned Kitchen as Chef Deniz teaches some French dishes to enjoy on your next date night:
You will learn how to make and present a variety of French hors d’oeuvres.
Our chef instructor will guide you through the tips and tricks to crafting beloved French pastries from scratch. You will learn to create homemade laminated dough, shape and bake delicate palmiers and prepare delicious turnovers with spinach and goat's cheese.
You are going to want to French someone after you make this amazing menu. It’s the perfect meal for a summer night in Canada.
Learn why French cooking is celebrated as the gastronomic standard, and explore the traditional French preparations for vegetables, chicken, pork, veal, duck, rabbit, fish, shrimp and mussels as well as several classic desserts.
