Course Details

Monica Gil Ruiz, owner and founder of the fabulously delicious 'London Basque Kitchen', will guide you through an array of stunning, yet easy-to-create, Spanish dishes. Using simple and accessible ingredients, we will show you how to impress your dinner guests with traditional Spanish dishes incorporating inventive, modern twists.

After your cooking session, you'll be able to sit down and enjoy the Spanish Feast you've created with your fellow classmates, over a glass of wine or cordial.

Typical recipes may include:

  • Warm-spiced cauliflower steak with romesco sauce, charred baby leeks and olive salsa
  • Seafood fideua
  • Caramelised Basque cheesecake with blackberry compote

 

Class structure 

Cooking with your classmates is an integral part of your Leiths experience. You will cook some of your recipes in pairs, and some independently – whatever the ratio, there is always more than enough food, and often food to take home too.

Your evening will comprise of a mixture of hands-on cookery and demonstrations performed by the chef who is running the session. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and, in the case of visiting chefs, their individual teaching style.
