Together, you'll make and dine on: steamed shrimp shao mai with orange dipping sauce; deep-fried chicken wontons; vegetable gyoza with spicy dipping sauce; and pork and chive dumplings.

The depth and complexity of texture and flavor are what make ramen so alluring. Learn how to make the rich, porcine broth from scratch plus chashu pork, jammy eggs, and the knife skills to finely slice vegetables and garnishes. This is not the ramen of your college dorm room! Bring on the umami!
The students will learn about kitchen safety, cooking methods and techniques, and different cuisines from around the world. We will explore the preparation of some basic menu items that kids will love.
Learn how to make the slightly sweet yeasty steamed buns from scratch along with tasty fillings such as Pork Char Siu, Cucumber Radish Slaw, Bok Choy w/ Thai Chilies, Sweet Chili Edamame, and fresh bean sprouts & scallions along side. Sweet Ginger Pudding rounds out this feast.Â
Asian Dumplings class is offered by A Cut Above. Two hours of professional culinary instruction, 3-course chef-prepared meal and a take-home recipe packets.
Stir-fry some green noodles (made from broccoli & spinach) & glass noodles in a sweet & savory sesame-ginger sauce loaded with veggies topped with crushed fragrant sesame seeds, a sweet & spicy street food style Korean rice cakes, and lemongrass firecracker chicken skewers.
