About Arnold-Kurtis Training
We started our training business in 2005 and re-branded to Arnold Kurtis Training in 2016. Our reputation across the UK was gained as a result of our tailor-made employee development programmes with a difference.
The Arnold-Kurtis value proposition is based around taking time to understand the client needs and exact requirements of anyone taking part in our training courses.
Whether it’s the management team needing a refresher course, a newly developed sales team in search for the extra performance motivation or a specialist team from IT or Marketing seeing up to date information on the GDPR and Data Protection regulations, we will be there to support you.
Both our client-premises and public courses are interesting, informative and more importantly great fun! We will never have more than 10 delegates per group as for us it is paramount that the trainer spends time with all individuals and addresses everyone’s needs.
Programmes tailor-made to your requirements
Arnold-Kurtis Training will not run courses with the same content from industry to industry and from client to client. Our consultants will take time to visit the client, discuss specific requirements and focus on the issues that need addressing within your organisation.
Examples/role plays and concepts will be based on your sector so that delegates find them relevant and interesting.
Leave the theory to the academics
You have had soft-skills training in the past and found it boring and old-fashioned. With some slides and graphics from the 80s and some of the concepts explained straight out of a lecture theatre at your local uni.
That’s not us! We explain every concept in simple, memorable ways which make it fun for the delegates and easy to apply when they go back in the office the next day.
Empathy
In a group of people it is very rare that every delegate learns at the same pace and in the same way. All our consultants have been through extensive NLP training courses and as a result use various audio, visual and kinaesthetic ways of delivering a message.
All exercises and role plays are done in an sympathetic manner and at various paces to suit every member of the group.
Continuous development
Our job doesn’t stop at the end of the course. With the certificate of attendance we will be sending out the course content, a feedback questionnaire and a personal development plan for further training and development of everyone taking part.
We have a rate of over 80% of delegates registering for a follow-up course on a different subject after their first Arnold-Kurtis Training experience.
This course with preparatory and post course materials will give you knowledge and practice for evaluating situations and responding appropriately. It will focus example situations that you may encounter during your doctorate.
This is a 1 day course (day 1 of our 3 day workshop) and therefore is seen as an introduction to the Assertiveness model only. The course allows participants to identify specific areas in life they would like to change.
Assertive people perform better. They have the confidence to move projects and tasks forward by making timely, logical decisions based on mutually beneficial outcomes.
This workshop is designed to encourage debate and discussion amongst delegates about those “grey areas” of boundary crossings which professionals can accidentally cross, often inadvertently and with the intention of helping the person that is receiving their service.
Find out the secrets of assertive people and their key techniques.
