While this is a beginner ballet class, this is not a "Ballet 101" class. If you do not have any ballet experience, you are welcome to join the class, but please be prepared to work your way through the movements and just give it your best shot.
As an adult this class will challenge you physically and mentally, and the instructor's approach for this class is about letting your body try the movements rather than just giving up. Also, this class often uses classical as well as contemporary music during class.
TADA – The Atlanta Dance Academy is Atlanta’s newest dance studio offering high quality dance education for children and adults of all skill levels.
Kara, an Atlanta native, founded TADA in October of 2016, and she has more than 30 years of dance training and education experience. Her training and performance experiences include: Harkness House in New York City, The Joffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, The Georgia Ballet, and Southern Ballet.
Ms. Jacobson is also a graduate of the nationally recognized Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts (CCCEPA). Kara is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.
Currently, Kara is a volunteer coach for the USA Special Olympics gymnastics team. In addition to launching TADA Kara is a faculty member at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
We offer Ballet classes in the Russian Vagonava method. Ballet is a highly structured class that requires a quiet power and controlled strength.
Ballet Dance class is offered by Denver Dance Center. Denver Dance Center offers drop-in, open classes for intermediate to professional level adult dancers. We hold classes 7 days per week, including most holidays.Â
Kids Ballet Class is offered by Corazon Latino Dance Studio. We at Corazon Latino Dance Studio focus on the kinesthetic development of our children through music that assists children to develop a passion for music and dance.Â
