Coffee making short course

Our unique three hour barista basics class will open your mind to everything “coffee”. This class teaches the fundamentals of espresso extraction and stretching milk to create beautiful micro-foam.

We teach you the tools and techniques that will allow you to make the perfect Melbourne cup of coffee, every time.

 

Course Outline:

 

  • The coffee making process

  • A brief history of coffee

  • Grinding, dosing and tamping

  • Extracting coffee from the espresso machine

  • Texturising and stretching milk to create micro-foam

  • Pouring to create different drinks on the menu
