Dance Glasgow opened it's doors in 2010, occupying just the top floor of our Ruthven Lane studio, with the intention of bringing accessible dance to adults who thought it was too late to learn and for those who were looking to return after dancing in their childhoods.
In 2012 we extended into the downstairs floor, adding another studio and in 2015 we opened our second venue in the centre of Glasgow - Studio 22.
We now run classes for all levels, Absolute Beginners to Advanced across both of our studios and continue to enjoy bringing Dance to all.
Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
We have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer. We always aim to provide a friendly atmosphere and welcome anyone who wants to join us.
Conditioning classes are offered by Timms School of Dance. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace which helps to make them feel at ease and confident, learning a new skill whilst having lots of fun, and making lots of new friends.
Fitness classes are offered by The Vernon Johnson School Of Dance. It is one of the longest running dance schools in Liverpool. Whether you have one or two left feet anyone can learn to dance. There is something for all ages and abilities.
In this class we will work on Strength training which will involve the use of weights as well as also incorporating bodyweight exercises. All levels are welcome.
This is a dance and fitness programme designed and choreographed by the professionals on Strictly Come Dancing with Mark Foster (Olympic swimmer).
Split Stretch classes are offered by Urban Aerial Southampton. Our classes have a wide range of fitness benefits including increasing upper body & core strength, increasing flexibility all whilst having fun & meeting new people.
